I Struggle Too: My Story With Mental Health
For those of you reading this who struggle with mental health issues; I get it. I’ve been in therapy for over 7 years, and it’s all about making the little wins count. I created Mentally Offline with this in mind; celebrating the small stuff, and adding humour to everyone’s lives (because humour is the healthiest coping mechanism, obviously).
I’m a business based in North Brisbane, Australia, and sharing my story and making people smile is what it’s all about for me. In 2023, I was diagnosed with C-PTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder, which totally changed my outlook on everything. I finally had an answer to everything going on, and why I reacted certain ways to certain situations. Whether you have depression, social anxiety, or PTSD like me, I am here to put a smile on your face to what may seem like at times, a gloomy existence.
All of my t-shirt designs I created, I wanted people to say ‘ahh yes, I relate to this a little too much’, because honestly, just finding someone you relate to can make the biggest difference.
